In 2025, I experienced another significant stage of growth in my journey with esoteric studies and divination, as I began my study of the Thoth Tarot. The advanced course lasted seven months, and if I am being precise, including the introductory Thoth course, my Thoth Tarot studies spanned almost an entire year (around ten months).

I had never imagined that a deck of just 78 cards could take so long to learn — but it truly does. And even after all this time, it still feels like there is never enough to learn. The depth and charm of the Thoth Tarot can only be understood once you have studied it. It is no wonder that so many highly skilled diviners favour the Thoth deck.

I am deeply grateful for the teacher’s professional and rigorous teaching, which truly opened the door to a whole new world for me.

I have studied many esoteric and metaphysical systems over the years and have learned from quite a few teachers in this field. However, your course is by far the most detailed, the most professional, and the most practical course I have ever taken. It is so systematic that it feels like studying an academic discipline — and honestly, why shouldn’t it be considered one?

You are the only teacher I have encountered who begins by explaining the origins of the Tarot as a tool: its roots, the original intentions of its creator, and how it has evolved into its modern practical usage. Before asking us to use the cards, you ensure that we truly understand where they come from.

Unlike some esoteric teachers who rely on vague or mystical rhetoric to impress students or to create admiration and dependency, you never use exaggerated or obscure concepts to prove your authority. You are truly a breath of fresh air in this field.

What I appreciate most is that your teaching is firmly grounded in practice.

Looking back on nearly a year of studying the Thoth Tarot, the rhythm of one lesson per month was absolutely perfect for me. It gave me ample time to digest what I learned in class, as well as sufficient time for post-class practice. Although my interpretations were honestly quite poor at the beginning, you never criticised me. Instead, you gave me tremendous encouragement and support, and most importantly, the courage to face the depth and complexity of the Thoth Tarot.

Through your detailed feedback on our homework, I was able to clearly identify the weaknesses in my interpretations. I am extremely grateful for the care and thought you put into designing the assignments. The information contained in the Thoth Tarot is far richer and more profound than standard Tarot, and without proper guidance, it would be very difficult to grasp.

You skilfully integrate symbolism, numerology, astrology, and the Tree of Life to break down the core meaning of each card, while also sharing your extensive real-world reading experience — which is incredibly important. There are many teachers who only teach card meanings, often simply repeating what can be found in online resources or guidebooks, without any genuine interpretive experience. Some can only recite meanings word for word from books.

I learn Tarot to use it in real practice. If it cannot be applied, what is the point of learning it?

Many teachers say, “The master leads you to the door, but the practice is up to you,” yet only teach surface-level knowledge, sometimes knowing little more than the basics themselves. A good teacher truly matters. You not only master all aspects of the system, but also guide us to design our own spreads and create layouts that are uniquely our own. For this, I am genuinely grateful for your generosity in teaching without reservation.

Over the course of this year, I have gained a great deal. I have added another powerful tool to my divination practice. From initially feeling completely lost and unable to understand the Thoth Tarot, I am now able to interpret it independently. The Thoth Tarot has allowed me to access much deeper layers of meaning within questions, and my readings have received recognition from many people. Many of my interpretations have also been accurately validated, which has been the most rewarding part of this journey for me.
